Halloween Events

Friday, October 23, 2020

We’ve got a week full of exciting events at the Forsyth Public Library as we get ready for Halloween! Our spooktacular StoryWalk® starts on Monday October 26th and will follow Sammy on his attempt to create the best Halloween ever in "Sammy’s Spooktacular Halloween" by Mike Petrik. Pages of the story will be posted in our windows around the library for you to read along all week. Our Halloween Take ‘n’ Make kits will also be available starting on Monday. Kids can construct their own haunted house while adults can make cute fabric pumpkins. On Thursday, our Story Time gets creepy as we read “Quackenstein Hatches a Family” by Sudipta Bardhan-Quallen. From 10am-6pm, every hour on the hour, we'll be reading this story and a few others before getting a craft to take home! Then on Saturday, we’ll be handing out treat bags for children that stop in wearing their costumes and participate in our StoryWalk®. You won’t want to miss out on all these exciting events this week, so make sure you and your family join us for all the fun!
