System Upgrades Ahead
Thursday, January 16, 2014
From Saturday evening, January 18 at 6 p.m. until Tuesday morning, January 21 at 7 a.m., the library system we're part of (Illinois Heartland) will be upgrading the online circulation system, Polaris.
During that time patrons may not be able to access the online catalog, or catalog results may not be up-to-date. Patrons should not place holds on items during that time. Additionally, certain services which use the online catalog (such as Library on the Go or Freegal) may not be available.
We WILL be open on Monday, January 20 as usual (9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.) and patrons can still check out and return materials as usual. However, on Monday we will not be able to issue new library cards, place holds, or renew items. We ask Forsyth residents who wish to check out materials on Monday to please bring their library cards.
