Here’s what is coming up at Forsyth Public Library:

Monday, July 15 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. drop-in ~ Scavenger Hunt

Stop by each Monday in July for a QR Code scavenger hunt. Discover new clues at the library each week for a chance to win a prize! Once you crack the clue, use a device to scan the QR code. The scavenger hunts are open to all ages and no registration is necessary.

Monday, July 15 @ 10 a.m. ~ Zumba Party

Join in the Zumba fun every Monday in July from 10-11 a.m. in the community room. From beginners to advanced, adults and teens are welcome. Please wear tennis shoes and clothes suitable for workout.

Monday, July 15 @ 1-2 p.m. ~ Writer-in-Residence

Join local suspense author J.D. Webb to learn more about writing and becoming published.Anyone ages 10 and up is encouraged to meet with Mr. Webb for informal one-on-one consultations.

Tuesday, July 16 @ 10 a.m. ~ Dance with Me

Dance and learn with your little one at the library! Join Michi Barber from the Dance Centre as she encourages development through music and dance. Sessions are geared for ages 16 months through 3 years, but all children not yet in kindergarten are welcome. No registration is required.

Tuesday, July 16 @ 2 p.m. ~ Duke Otherwise

Duke Otherwise presents a captivating musical performance of singing, tap-dancing, and playing guitar. All ages are welcome and no registration is required.

Weds. July 17 @ 9:30 a.m. ~ Baby TALK

Families with children ages birth to 3 are invited to our Baby TALK sessions on Wednesdays throughout the year from 9:30-10:15 a.m. Baby TALK is free with no registration required.

Thurs. July 18 @ 1 p.m. ~ Lip Sync Contest

Come see the talented performers at the library’s lip sync contest! If you signed up to be a contestant but have not submitted your forms to the library, please do so as soon as possible.

Friday, July 19 @ 10 a.m. ~ Swimming Story Time

Story Time fun for ages 2-5. No registration required and siblings are welcome.

Friday, July 19 @ 10 a.m. ~ Bookkeepers Book Group

The Bookkeepers Discussion Group will meet to discuss A Fall of Marigolds by Susan Meissner.

Sat. July 20 @ 10 a.m. ~ Computer Deconstruction

Want to take a closer look at what’s inside a computer? In this upcycle STEM activity, families will take apart a computer tower under the guidance of Best Buy Geek Squad staff. This program is for ages 6 and up with an accompanying adult guardian. Advance registration is required.
