Join us for these fun events at the Forsyth Public Library:

 

Monday, June 5 @ 6-7:30 p.m. - Pediatrician Parenting Tips  Have you ever wished you had more time to talk with your child’s pediatrician? Do you have questions about how to handle health or behavior issues with your child? Local pediatrician Dr. Samir Patel will discuss parenting issues specific to birth to age two.Dr. Patel will return on June 12 to cover ages two to five. No registration is necessary.

Tuesday, June 6 @ 10-11 a.m. - Youth Garden  Young gardeners are invited to help plant the library's flower bed, then make a seed bomb to take home. No registration is required but please note that in case of inclement weather the event will be held on Friday, June 9 from 10-11 a.m.

Tuesday, June 6 @ 2-3 p.m. – Silly Safaris  Come meet a variety of wild creatures and learn about the homes they design in this family-friendly event for all ages.No registration required.

Wednesday, June 7 @ 9:30-10:15 a.m. - Baby TALK  Baby TALK meets every Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at Forsyth Public Library for ages birth to 3.No registration is necessary.

Wednesday, June 7 @ 1-2 p.m. – Brownie Bake  Teens and Tweens (ages 10 and up) will make and bake a tasty treat.Registration required.

Thursday, June 8 @ 10-11 a.m. – Discovering Dinosaurs  Story Time fun for ages 2-6.No registration required.

Thursday, June 8 @ 12:30-1:30 p.m. OR 2:30-3:30 p.m. – Design Your Own Pizza  It’s a pizza party!Design your own Mini-Murph pizza, then get ready to enjoy!Ages 6 and up, registration required.

Thursday, June 8 @ 6-7 p.m. – Food for Thought Book Group  This book group for adults will discuss When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi.No registration necessary.

Saturday, June 10 @ 10-11:30 a.m. – Amazing Rubber Band Cars  How far will yours go? How fast will it be? Ages 6 and up, along with an adult, will make, decorate, fine-tune, and race their very own rubber band powered car.Adults and kids will work together to construct their car. Advance registration required.
