Antique vendor mall now open at Connie’s

Thursday, February 16, 2017

Elliott Burgett, in partnership with his parents, Greg and Connie Burgett, has opened a new business inside the Connie’s Country Greenhouse complex located on Route 51.

Peddler’s Point is an antique vendor mall, located in the north end of the building while the greenhouse continues to operate out of the south end. Greg and Connie Burgett own Connie’s Country Greenhouse

“We were wanting this to be a variety of things, from old to new,” Elliott Burgett said of the new business, which opened Thanksgiving weekend. “We’re trying to be different to bring in older and younger buyers. There’s something for everyone.”

Elliott Burgett said a sampling of what you can see at Peddler’s Point includes: scented candles, woodworking signs, arts and crafts, vintage merchandise, collectibles, primitives and, of course, antiques. You can also look for fresh strawberries and asparagus for sale once they’re in season.

He added that even though there are over 35 vendors present, the space is manageable for shoppers.

“It’s all on one floor,” Elliott Burgett said. “It’s not too big and not too small. They can see all the vendors’ areas at one time.”

Once warm weather comes back around, he’s also planning to hold monthly outdoor vendor events.

Hours are 10 a.m.–6 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday; noon–5 p.m. on Sunday; and closed on Monday.
