Jeremy Doolin Disposal has been taking care of Forsyth residents for several years now. Recently, the company began offering recycling. The service, which began in October, is similar to the program offered in Decatur.

Streamline recycling, as it is known, is “where you can throw everything in one bin,” as Doolin describes it. “And, nothing has to be rinsed out before recycling.” Doolin has contracted with Always Green Recycling of Decatur. The programs provides customers with a 95-gallon recycle tote, which holds about 30 more gallons of recycling material than the standard size. That way Doolin can have your cans, bottles, newspapers, cardboard, etc. picked up every other Thursday rather than weekly. But, if demand increases, he will switch over to weekly, he says.

Jeremy Doolin Disposal, not to be confused with Doolin Disposal, is locally owned and operated and has been in business since 2003. Doolin himself is who customers often see taking care of their trash pickup.

“You always see the same faces when we come to your house,” Doolin says. For more information, call (217) 422-5298.

Li Ye, owner of the Relaxation Spa at Hickory Point Mall, says that with the holiday season here, there might be a time when shoppers need some help.

Relaxation Spa’s goal is to provide care for people who have neck, shoulder and back pain.

“We work with them to make them feel much better,” Li Ye says.
