Businesses support bringing visitors to Forsyth

The Forsyth business community recognizes the impact of visitors to the Village, according to Mayor Hap Gilbert. “They work with us and are willing to put their names out there in association with the Village,” the mayor said.

For example, a total of 35 local businesses contributed to a collection of products awarded in a drawing for the top three prizes at the close of the Tate & Lyle Players Championship golf tournament held in June at Hickory Point Golf Course.

Products and prizes were donated from the following businesses: Architectural Expressions, Buffalo Wild Wings, Brown’s Truck Accessories, BoRic’s, Cheddar’s, Chuck Weigel and Hap Gilbert, Country Inn & Suites, Decatur Spring, Earthmover Credit Union, Forsyth Village Antique Mall, Forsyth Phillips 66, Garner-Hoadley Auto Body, Good’s Furniture, Golf USA, Grinder’s, Holiday Inn Express, HomeTown Buffet, J.L. Hubbard Insurance & Bonds, Kirlin’s Hallmark, Lamar Advertising, Lebeda Mattress, Lowe’s, Mi Jalapeno, Mug-A-Bug, Mrs. Field’s Cookies, Old Book Barn, Panda Express, Payless Shoes, Pizza Hut, Poage Auto Mall, Solar Tan, Town and Country Bank, Vinnie’s Barbee-Q, Waite’s Dry Cleaners, Waldenbooks and Zale’s.
