Forsyth Family Fest starts Friday, June 14 with rides, village picnic

Thursday, May 30, 2013

Editor’s note: Let’s try this again. You may have noticed in the previous edition of Village Vision or in our publicity flier that we gave you the wrong dates for the upcoming Forsyth Family Fest. Let’s see if we can correct things and get everyone on the same page. We apologize for the error.

Forsyth Family Fest is set for Friday and Saturday, June 14 and 15.

Get things started when free carnival rides open at 5 p.m. Friday. Then hit the Village Picnic for burgers, hot dogs, baked beans, cookies and more. Dinner will be served from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. An exhibition ballgame will take place after the picnic.

Take in the rides, concessions and live music, and top it off with fireworks.
