Items of interest from village staff and recent board meetings

  • In the law enforcement report on February 21, Macon County Sheriff’s Deputy Jennifer Harris told trustees about two residential burglaries that occurred February 20 on Hope Drive in Christian Village in Forsyth. The incidents not only occurred the same day but also during daylight hours. Harris said deputies are canvassing the area, and she called it an open investigation. She also said it appears the perpetrator knew there was an opportunity. Harris said she would update the Board on new developments in the investigation.
