Forsyth Spring Cleaning Days

Thursday, April 11, 2013

The Village’s annual free Clean Up Days begin Monday, April 22, and end Friday, April 26. All Forsyth residents may use this free opportunity to dispose of unwanted large items, but some restrictions do apply.

Although electronics are now banned from landfills, the Village has arranged for a state-certified recycler who will collect electronics eligible for recycling. As in the past, the Village welcomes anything residents wish to dispose of except landscape waste, oil, hazardous chemicals, paint, tires, household trash or railroad ties. Curbside pickup begins at 7 a.m. each day. Call Village Hall at 877-9445 with questions.
