Forsyth Spring Cleaning Days

Thursday, April 16, 2015

The village’s annual free Clean Up Days run from Monday, April 20 through Friday, April 24. All Forsyth residents may use this free opportunity to dispose of unwanted large items, however, there are restrictions.

Although electronics are banned from landfills, the village has arranged for a state-certified recycler to collect electronics eligible for recycling. As in past years, the village welcomes most anything residents wish to dispose of with the exception of: landscape waste, oil, hazardous chemicals, paint, tires, household trash or railroad ties. Curbside pickup begins daily at 7 a.m. If you have any questions, call Village Hall at 877-9445.
