New Copier
The library’s new copier is up and running. Library staff members are excited to help patrons with all the wonderful services the copier provides. The machine also scans, functions as a fax machine and serves as a printer for computers in the library. It is capable of printing items from a USB drive as well as scanning items to a USB drive or to email. The price for printing single-sided black-and-white pages (10 cents) has not changed, and it is now possible for patrons to print in color (50 cents for single-sided pages).

Freegal Music
Forsyth residents can now download up to five songs per week with Freegal Music, an increase over the three songs previously allowed. Freegal Music, available on the library’s web page, is an online database that provides access to songs from Sony Music and other labels. The music files are DRM-free, do not expire and are compatible with PCs, Macs, iPods, iPads, most smartphones and other MP3-compatible devices. The Freegal Music apps are available in the Apple App Store and Google Play. Access Freegal (as in free and legal) through the “materials search” section of the library’s web page at www.forsythlibrary.com. Look for the Freegal icon to access the resource, then enter your Forsyth library card number and browse through the millions of songs available. Library staff members are happy to help you with any questions.
