Check out the tables as you come in to the library, and grab a list of favorite family reads, including resources for parents! This year’s theme for Family Reading Night is “Camp Out With a Good Book!” A fun family activity you could do with your kids would be to pitch an indoor tent or build a family reading fort out of pillows and blankets at home. Get cozy and read with your favorite young people!

Say hello to the new faces at the Forsyth Public Library
The library welcomes two new staff members. Lisa Sarm is the new youth services assistant. She previously worked at Lincoln Library in Springfield for 10 years in the youth services department. Lisa may also be found at the Decatur Family YMCA teaching parent/child swim lessons. Laura McCauley has been hired as library assistant I. As both a student and a soon-to-be published poet, Laura enjoys balancing her scholarly endeavors with artistic passions and cherishes the opportunity to awaken and learn something new each day. Be sure to say hello to Lisa and Laura when you stop in!
