Still Time to Read For The Win! 
Forsyth Public Library’s 2016 summer reading program, Read for the Win! is in its final stretch, so don’t forget to keep reading! There is still time to make it across the finish line, but be sure to bring your logs back to the library by Saturday, July 30 in order to receive your hard-earned prizes!

Writer-In-Residence continues
Join local suspense author J.D. Webb to learn more about writing and getting published! As Forsyth Public Library’s writer-in-residence this summer, he is available from 2-4 p.m. on Monday, July 18 and from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Monday, July 25. Ages 10 and up are encouraged to meet with Mr. Webb during these times for specialized one-on-one consultations.

Winner’s Circle Tuesday Programs
Fly in on Tuesday, July 19 from 2-3 p.m. to see Fred and His Feathered Friends perform spectacular stunts and amazing feats for your enjoyment. You’ll surely be tweeting about this show — don’t miss it! 

Join us and Ronald McDonald at Sundae on Tuesday
Celebrate the end of the 2016 summer reading program at Sundae on Tuesday featuring Ronald McDonald on Tuesday, July 26 from 2-3 p.m. You’ll get to build your own sundae and enjoy some magical fun with Ronald McDonald. No registration required.

Cheering Section Wednesdays
Baby TALK meets on Wednesday mornings from 9:30-10:15 a.m. These informal sessions are led by trained Baby TALK instructors and feature books, songs and fingerplays. Baby TALK is a wonderful place for caregivers of young children to share concerns and celebrate achievements. Baby TALK is for children ages birth through 3. No registration is necessary.

Minor League Movie
Trot on in for a screening of the Disney classic The Horse in the Gray Flannel Suit (G) on Wednesday, July 20 from 1-3 p.m. Popcorn will be served!

White elephant gift exchange for Tweens and Teens
Attention Tweens and Teens ages 10 and up! Do you have something you just don’t want anymore but someone else might really love? Looking for a sneaky way to re-gift an unwanted present? Then this event is for YOU! Drop off your gift at the library by Wednesday, July 20, and join us Thursday, July 21 from 1-2 p.m. for our White Elephant Gift Exchange! What is a White Elephant? It’s an event where participants compete to walk away with the “best” gift — “best” being a relative term in this game of re-gifting!

Adult DIY Decorative Coasters
Stampin’ Up demonstrator Lori Mellon will demonstrate how to create your own personalized set of four coasters using patterned paper and ceramic tiles on Saturday, July 23 from 1-2 p.m. All supplies will be provided. Reserve your spot now!'

VolunTeen Thank You Party
There is no “I” in “team” ... but there is an “I” in PIZZA! Members of Team VolunTeen are invited to come to the library on Wednesday, July 27 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. to play games and eat pizza as a big thank you for all your hard work at the library this summer! 

Family LEGO Day
Be sure to “build” some time into your schedule to attend the library’s next Family Lego Day on Saturday, August 6 anytime between 10 a.m.-1 p.m. All ages are welcome to come have a fun day playing with LEGOs!
