Bookkeepers Book Club
Join members of the Bookkeepers Book Club for their latest selection, All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr on Friday, Aug. 19 at 10 a.m. at Forsyth Public Library. In addition to winning the Pulitzer Prize for fiction, The New York Times called the novel “hauntingly beautiful.” Be sure to get your copy and join the discussion!

Harry Potter Crafts
Attention young wizards! Have fun creating potions, wands and more from the world of Harry Potter on Saturday, Aug. 20 from 1-2 p.m. This program is for wizards in second grade and up. Registration required.

Adult Coloring Party
Come unwind with us at another adult coloring party on Tuesday, Aug. 23 from 10-11:30 a.m. We’ll have music playing, coloring pages and supplies, but you’re also welcome to bring your own materials. Drop in and color your cares away.

Story Time Returns!
Mark your calendar for Friday, Sept. 2 at 10 a.m. for the beginning of our fall story time series! The first session’s theme will be Pete the Cat! Story Time is for children ages 3-5 and their caregivers. Each session lasts about 45 minutes. Don’t miss it!

Join other parents and caregivers of young children every Wednesday from 9:30-10:15 a.m. at informal Baby TALK sessions. Baby TALK is for ages birth to 3; no registration is necessary. Each session includes time to discuss challenges and accomplishments in the lives of our children. Babies and toddlers will enjoy songs, stories and time to play! Hope to see you there!

1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Congratulations to Elizabeth B. and Charlotte W., our newest 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program finishers! Each young lady will have her name placed on a book plate in a Forsyth Public Library book of their choosing. It’s not too late to sign up your child or grandchild (age 5 and under) for this exciting and easy reading program. Just stop in the library, and we’ll get you set up and on your way to 1,000!

Forsyth Public Library’s VolunTeens are a vital part of our yearly Summer Reading Program. This year they volunteered a total of 352 hours. Please join us in congratulating all 19 of them: Anum A., Maha A., Nasikah A., Emma B., Maaz B., Neha B., Ally D., Abigail G., Michael H., Maya J., Justice L., Maddi M., Kira P., Leah P., Emma S., Rylee S., Jennifer W., Megan W., and Rachel W. We couldn’t do it without you!

Sign Up for Crazy 8s Math Club!
Crazy 8s Math Club is back for another fun-filled session! Be sure to get your spot for this all-new math adventure. Crazy 8s Math makes learning math concepts fun for students in third to fifth grades. This session runs from Sept. 6 through Oct. 25 and meets every Tuesday from 4-5 p.m. for eight weeks. Registration required.
