Story Time
The last two preschool Story Time sessions of 2016 will be full of holiday fun! Jingle all the way in on Friday, December 2 at 10 a.m. to make a fun jingle bell ornament! On Friday, December 9 we will play holiday games together and create ornaments to adorn the Christmas tree at Forsyth Public Library, plus one for you to take home. No registration necessary.

Holiday Fun for Kids
It doesn’t matter if you’ve been naughty or nice, come make an edible Santa graham cracker treat with us on Saturday, December 3 any time between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. While you’re at it, you can design a fun ornament to decorate our tree! No registration necessary.

Christmas Basket Donations Sought
The library will serve as a drop-off location for the Maroa-Forsyth Christmas Baskets, a project that brings holiday assistance to families and individuals within the Maroa Forsyth School District. Non-perishable food items and unwrapped toys for children ages birth to teen may be dropped off at the library no later than December 8. 

Baby TALK
Join other parents and caregivers with young children (ages 0-3) at weekly Baby TALK sessions at the library. Baby TALK meets on Wednesday mornings from 9:45-10:15 a.m. in the Community Room. Your young child will enjoy listening to stories, singing songs and interacting with others at these fun-filled early learning gatherings! No registration necessary.

Food For Thought and Bookkeepers Book Clubs
The library’s two book clubs will meet to discuss the same topic at their December meetings: your favorite book of 2016! Food For Thought meets at 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 8; come enjoy hot chocolate and Christmas treats. Bookkeepers meets at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 16. Mark your calendar!

Tech Club
Please note that Tech Club will not meet in December. Tech Club meets again on Tuesday, January 17 at 10 a.m.

Candleholder Craft for Tweens & Teens
Design a colorful glass candle holder using tissue paper and Mod-Podge at this DIY class for ages 10-18 on Saturday, December 10 from 1-2 p.m. Each participant will receive an LED tea light to illuminate their creation. This activity would make a great holiday gift for someone special! Registration required.

Save The Date!
Senior Library Technician Shelly Smith is retiring at the end of December after 25 years of assisting library users. Please mark your calendar for a holiday open house in her honor on Wednesday, December 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Pop in for a Movie!
Mark your calendar for our upcoming screening of The Secret Life of Pets (rated PG) on December 28 from 1-2:30 p.m. 
