Sew Much Fun
Sew Much Fun makes learning to hand-sew “seam” easy! Boys and girls in grade 3 and up are encouraged to come to our sewing club, held on the first Thursday of each month at Forsyth Public Library. The January meeting of Sew Much Fun will be Thursday, January 5 from 4-5 p.m. Register today! 

Sign Up for Crazy 8s Math Club!
Crazy 8s Math Club for kids in grades 3-5 will begin Tuesday, January 10 from 4-5 p.m. and run for eight consecutive weeks. Participants must register for the program in advance and attend all eight fun-filled sessions. There will be a new program every Tuesday. Bedtime Math’s Crazy 8s Club is a nonprofit whose mission is to help kids love numbers so they can handle real math in real life. There are over 5,000 clubs nationwide and growing. Please call the library at 877-8174 to register.

Food For Thought Book Club
The memoir I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban by Malala Yousafzai is the Food For Thought book club’s selection for Thursday, January 12 at 6 p.m. Food For Thought meets on the second Thursday of the month, and new members are encouraged to come discuss this book written by the youngest Nobel Peace Prize recipient in history.

Don’t forget that you can find lists of our new materials on our website www.forsythlibrary.com. The lists cover audiovisual materials, adult fiction and nonfiction, as well as juvenile fiction. You can also follow us on Facebook to get updates on new materials!

Baby TALK
Baby TALK will not meet on January 4 but will resume on Wednesday, January 11 at 9:30 a.m. Baby TALK sessions are presented by trained Baby TALK instructors and are designed for children ages birth to 3.

New Year’s closing
The library will be closed Monday, January 2. Normal hours will resume Tuesday, January 3.
