Terrific Tuesdays
You won’t want to miss being at the library on Tuesday afternoons from 2-3 p.m. We’ve collected a creative group of family-friendly performers for all ages. On June 20, join us for Rockin’ Rob’s rock concert geared especially for kids. Next get ready for Absolute Science on June 27 when we’ll have fun with dry ice exploration, a Van de Graaff generator and so much more! No registration is necessary.

Constructive Tweens and Teens
Teens and Tweens, get signed up for these upcoming programs created especially for you! Design and bake your own Papa Murphy’s pizza, and play pizza box battleship on June 21 from 1-2 p.m. On June 28, from 1-2 p.m., Lowe’s staff will help you build a fun project. Registration is required, for ages 10 and up.

Imaginative Pre-K
Get ready to let your imagination soar at these programs specially created for kids age 2-6. Story Time is held on Thursdays from 10-11 a.m. Join us and staff from the Macon County Conservation District at Rock Springs as they help our little ones explore snakes and turtles on June 22. Come back June 29 to play outside and get wet! Sessions include a fun craft to make and take home. No registration is necessary.

Create and Discover Thursdays
Attention kids ages 6 and up: The library has awesome activities for you on Thursday afternoons in June! On June 22 and 29, artist Jennifer Stout will visit. On June 22, learn to paint a beautiful bridge; and on June 29, create a fancy freeform sculpture! Create and Discover Thursday programs are offered at two different times for your convenience. Select from two time slots: 12:30-2 p.m. or 2:30-4 p.m. Registration is required.

Family Egg Drop Challenge
Can your family design a container that will protect an egg from breaking? Join us Saturday, June 24 at 10 a.m. when we will test your family’s entry by dropping it from different heights. May the best egg win! Please register by June 20.

Join other parents and caregivers of young children every Wednesday from 9:30-10:15 a.m. at informal Baby TALK sessions. Baby TALK is for ages birth to 3, and no registration is necessary. Each session includes time to discuss challenges and accomplishments in the lives of our children. Babies and toddlers will enjoy songs, stories and time to play! Hope to see you there!

Writer-In-Residence Program
Join local suspense author J.D. Webb on Monday, June 26 from 5:30-7 p.m. to learn more about writing and getting published. Anyone 10 and up is encouraged to meet with Mr. Webb for specialized one-on-one consultations.

Taking a trip? The library has audiobooks to listen to on your journey. We even have Playaways, the newest way to listen to a book. Playaways are about the size of a deck of cards and contain an entire digital audiobook, with no separate player or stack of CDs to worry about. Come browse through our collection of titles, and start listening to books in a whole new way!

Disc Golf
Forsyth Public Library makes it easy to try out the Forsyth Park Disc Golf Course. Come borrow an official disc, and test your disc golf skills.
