Dance With Me

Join Michi Barber from The Dance Centre to Brain Dance with your little one. Children and an adult partner will dance and learn together, exploring fun movement patterns that provide a body and brain workout. Activities are designed for ages 16 months through age 3, but all children not yet in kindergarten are welcome to attend. Sessions are offered March 20 and April 17 at 10 a.m. No registration is necessary.

Story Time

Preschoolers can play games, create crafts, sing, and of course, listen to stories at the library’s story times every Friday at 10 a.m. On February 16 the theme is bath-time fun. Come back and join us on February 23 for “Once Upon a Story Time” fairy tales. Story times are geared for ages 3 to 5. Siblings are welcome. No registration is necessary.

Baby TALK

Join other parents and caregivers of children ages birth to 3 at weekly Baby TALK sessions. Age-appropriate books, songs, rhymes and dances are presented by trained Baby TALK instructors. Each session allows time for caregivers to celebrate the children’s accomplishments and ask questions about parenting challenges. Baby TALK meets each Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the library. No registration is required.

Frameable Fabric Art

Kids, would you like to make a personalized art project to hang in your room? Scarlett Wells from the Fabric Cobbler is leading a hand-embroidery class for ages 6 and up using wool blend felt and your favorite character fabric! The class will be held on five consecutive Thursdays in March from 4-5 p.m. Space is limited so register by February 20 by coming into the library or by calling 877-8174. Remember to let us know who your favorite character is so we can find fabric just for you!

Jigsaw Puzzles

Stop in and challenge your brain by working on a jigsaw puzzle with us! The library will again have a community puzzle going during the winter months.
