The Writer’s Life

A woman wipes a smudge off her ATM screen one night. A small child sits on a bench outside a shop in a busy mall. A cool breeze from a quiet river wafts over a woman as she begins her work. What do these seemingly innocuous events have in common? They all resulted in a mystery novel. You’re invited to learn how everyday life experiences can become the foundation of fiction. On Monday, June 18 at 1 p.m. at Forsyth Public Library, author J.D. Webb will discuss how ordinary moments can be the start of a creative, enjoyable story. Join us for this fun and lively glimpse into the life of a writer. You might be inspired to try writing your own narrative. Webb returns to the library on Monday, June 25 from 1-2 p.m. to meet one-on-one with anyone who would like to talk about writing and getting published.
