FYL board openings
The Forsyth Youth League has two openings on its board. This is your opportunity to give back to the community in a way that helps provide an environment that enables children to learn and apply the principles of teamwork, discipline, dedication and sportsmanship. The board meets once a month and is also active during baseball, softball and basketball seasons in order to facilitate the support and organization needed to offer successful programs within our community. If you would like to be considered for this opportunity, please contact Mike Turner, (217) 202-7360.

Beginning Dec. 1, Meals on Wheels of Macon County will deliver hot and healthy meals to homebound seniors anywhere in Macon County every weekday. The program is available to all homebound seniors, regardless of income, and for some, it might be the only visitor they see that day. For more information, call (217) 422-6611.
