Trojan license plate frame sale
The Girls Athletic Boosters are selling Trojan license plate frames. Cost is $8 for one or $15 for a pair. All proceeds go to the group’s efforts to support and enhance athletic opportunities for female students. If you’re interested or need more information, call Tammy Brummitt, (217) 877-0891.

Play Ball: Memorial Day is Trojan Day at Busch Stadium in St. Louis
The Maroa-Forsyth baseball team will play at Busch Stadium on Monday, May 25, following the St. Louis Cardinals game. The Cardinals play the Diamondbacks at 3:15 p.m., after which the Trojans play the South Callaway (Missouri) Bulldogs. Tickets for the Cardinals game are $40 (face value is $56). A ticket for the Cardinals game is required to attend the high school game. Blocks of tickets can be purchased for groups or company outings. Tickets will be on sale through May 22 or while supplies last. Call Sarah Woollen at (217) 412-2101 for tickets or for more information.

DCS’s Bloom Where You’re Planted
Decatur Christian School’s Spring Auction is coming up on April 11 at 5:30 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 650 N. Wyckles Road in Decatur. The theme this year is “Bloom Where You’re Planted.” Cost is $25 per person/$40 per couple or $150 for a table of eight. Tickets will be on sale in the school office through April 8.

Community Foundation of Macon County Scholarship Applications due
More than $60,000 available
The Community Foundation of Macon County is pleased to announce that its online scholarship application for the 2015-2016 academic year is available at High School seniors who reside in Macon County and have been accepted at an accredited college or university are encouraged to apply. Additionally, current college students should apply for scholarships. Only electronic applications submitted with all necessary attachments will be considered. The deadline is Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 5 p.m. The deadline for the Golden K Kiwanis Club Scholarship was March 1. Egg Hunt in Forsyth Park April 4
The Easter Egg Hunt is set for 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, the day before Easter Sunday in Forsyth Park. Get ready for some serious fun, as the Easter Bunny himself will make an appearance. Kids should bring a basket or bag for collecting eggs, and there will be some lucky winners of prize baskets. Hope to see you there! 
