Roofing work continues at library

Thursday, January 26, 2017

The last several months in the Village have been a busy time for roofing projects.

According to Public Works Director Larry Coloni, King-Lar Company has recently completed work on roofing jobs at the new Water Treatment Plant on Cox Street and at the old plant on Shafer Street.

A third job that Coloni expected King-Lar would have completed by the first of the year is the new roof at Forsyth Public Library.

“It’s probably about three-quarters done,” Coloni said. “It will be done soon, barring weather delays.”

Sounding a little frustrated when reporting on the job’s progress at a recent Board meeting, Coloni said the work continues.

“They’re working on it,” Coloni told trustees at the January 16 meeting.
