Surplus property donated to Maroa Youth League

Thursday, March 31, 2016

Public Works Director Larry Coloni has been working with the City of Maroa to donate some of Forsyth’s old diamond lighting fixtures to that community’s youth league. The lights have been stored inside the water treatment facility.

“Maroa Youth League had contacted us from when we upgraded our diamonds,” Coloni said. He added that in the past the village has donated equipment no longer in use to other communities, including Findlay and Warrensburg-Latham.

Trustee Jim Peck said it was a good idea, and it would give Coloni more room for strorage.

All votes were Yea. The measure carried.
